About Chris Ideson

Portland resident Chris Ideson possesses 16 years of experience in the hospitality and service sector. Currently, Chris Ideson serves as Senior Regional Operations Director at Restaurants Unlimited. Based in Seattle, Washington, this national company operates as the owner of numerous restaurant chains and individual restaurants across the United States. Before joining Restaurants Unlimited, Mr. Ideson worked as a District Manager at Pacific Coast Restaurants and as a General Manager at Hillstone Restaurant Group.

Since 2010, Chris Ideson has held the position of Senior Regional Operations Director at Restaurants Unlimited. In this role, he supervises a group of 21 restaurants across Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska. He is responsible for budgeting, strategic planning, sales and revenue forecasting, training, and staff development. Prior to being promoted to his current position at the company, he performed as Regional Operations Director. He joined the firm in 2007 as a Brand Leader.

Chris Ideson has garnered several professional honors. At Restaurants Unlimited, he won Director of the Year awards in both 2011 and 2012.

In 2010, Chris Ideson earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Before that, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism.

Outside of work, Chris Ideson has a rich personal life. An avid sportsman, he enjoys golf, fishing, and working out regularly. He also pursues a variety of philanthropic activities, including participating in the local toy drive. Additionally, he volunteers with Portland Rescue Mission, where he helps to provide a meal every month, and he is now in his third year of working with the KOIN Local 6 television station’s holiday initiative.
